John Clark
Meet John Clark, a dynamic leader and avid endurance athlete. As an advocate for community health and wellbeing, John has built a career around leadership in the aquatic and leisure industries. His passion for sport and making a difference shines through his remarkable feat of cycling from London to Melbourne, raising awareness and funds to combat child trafficking. John is also a seasoned triathlete, having completed multiple Ironman races, including the iconic Hawaii Ironman in Kona. His love for the outdoors, fitness, and adventure fuels his dedication to creating memorable, rewarding experiences for others.
Andre and John
Andre and John first met while working at RACV Torquay Resort, where Andre was the Food & Beverage Manager and John was the Health Club Manager. What began as a professional connection quickly grew into a close friendship, shaped by shared passions for soccer, cycling and a deep appreciation for good food – usually with Andre cooking it and John enthusiastically enjoying it.
It was Andre who introduced John to Hannah, now his wife of more than 10 years, a moment that would become a defining chapter in their lives. Over the years, that friendship has continued to strengthen, with Andre now proudly the godfather to John and Hannah’s two children. Today, they make a great team, combining a shared love of cycling, food and connection to bring the Plate & Pedal tour to life in a way that feels personal, warm and genuinely unforgettable.
